On a cold but sunnny November day, twelve eager MMM teachers from the south-west ranging from the young to the most senior, were fortunate to be funded by MMMI for a Personal Development Course workshop at Sidmouth College tutored by Denise Avent. 

Denise's well prepared schedule, (assisted by Gemma Luscombe in places), guided us through the legalities and requirements of Data Protection, allowing time to discuss how we implement them in our own classes.  We were also able to familiarise ourselves with the new MMM registration forms, paired down and clarified  by our hard working Directors.

There followed a gentle walk through the Basic - Yellow colour exercises with time to compare notes (interesting variations!) and determine how the exercises could and should be taught; a most valuable and worthwhile experience.

A really valuable day: so often we work alone, so sharing time together, discussing and learning under Denise's generous and good humoured tutelage left us reinvigorated to return to our classes.
